Richard Goldberg has been tutoring and teaching English since 1990. He is currently teaching a pre-graduate-level English class for international students at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. He has also tutored students from Wenzhou Medical University in China as they prepared to enter a rigorous masters/doctorate program (MS/OD) at the New England College of Optometry, and he has worked with highly-educated, highly-skilled immigrant professionals in banks, biotechnology, and IT companies to help them improve their English writing and speaking skills.
He served as Director of Education and teacher at the Asian American Civic Association in Boston’s Chinatown for almost 25 years.
In 2002, Richard was named Adult Education Teacher of the Year by the Massachusetts Coalition for Adult Education, and in 2007 he was recognized as Adult Education Administrator of the Year by the same organization.
His former students have graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Tufts University, University of Massachusetts Boston, University of Massachusetts Lowell, Northeastern University, Wentworth Institute, Bunker Hill Community College, Massachusetts Bay Community College, Roxbury Community College and Quincy College, among others.
